PPS S.A. (PRODUCTOS PORCINOS SECUNDARIOS) is a company belonging to Grupo Jorge, one of the mayor meat groups in Spain.

Our processing plant, located in Zuera, approximately 25 Km from the city of Zaragoza, was inaugurated in 2000. We began by processing all of the offal and casings from the slaughterhouses that belong to our group.

Within a short period of time, due to increased production needs, we started collaborating with external slaughterhouses, but with the same ideals of product quality.

To achieve this we work with the same premises: all of the products that we process must undergo the same production requirements.

We ensure that we provide the necessary conditions for this to occur.

We apply the same strict norms for the freezing and correct preservation of our products and for this purpose entrust the process to Frío Limpio de Aragón (www.friolimpio.com), a refrigerated warehouse belonging to our group, with a tunnel freezing capacity of 150 mT/day.

To offer an optimum service, our human capital is young, ambitious, highly qualified and receptive to our customers’ new needs.

In 2003 we put two new production lines into operation, one for the deboning of heads and another for processing mechanically recovered meat.

Today we produce and market a monthly volume of approximately 1500 mT of finished products and 500,000 original casings.
